Learning Together
I have decided to host this blog along with Gabor because Gabor and I believe that learning and informed opinions require multiplicity of views. Knowledge stems from experience however there are several ways of processing experience and reflection does not just happen it needs to be cultivated. Further all of us are limited by our disciplinary affiliations in the literature that we read and study. Some of these limitations could be overcome if all of us from different walks of life interact in this electronic cafeteria. We are excited about the learning possibilities of this joint venture and look forward to several fruitful conversations.

Dear Amita and Gábor,
ReplyDeleteI am very honoured to be the first one to write onto your blog and add something from my experience: I could and I am relying onto myself, my friends and my family in my recovery. Without my inner faith, without my encouraging surrounding I would be just a "patient with social security number", neglected and treated as an object.
Thank you for opening this blog and I hope that many people will add their own experience. I do believe that the good old times, when a human nature was described as a natural thing, will come back again and we will not have to read scientific books to be able to identify ourselves.
Best wishes to both of you,
Anna Hornyik
